SDG India Index and Dashboard 2020-21

The SDG India Index and Dashboard is a crucial tool in India's SDG monitoring efforts. Designed and developed by NITI Aayog, the Index measures the progress at the national and sub-national levels in our journey towards meeting the Global Goals and targets. It has also been successful as an advocacy tool to propagate the messages of sustainability, resilience, and partnerships. From covering 13 Goals, 39 targets, and 62 indicators in its first edition in 2018, this third edition of the Index covers all 17 Goals, 70 targets, and 115 indicators. The increased coverage is a testament to our efforts to continuously strengthen our monitoring systems. The insights drawn from this report will greatly benefit policymakers and all stakeholders in sustainable development.
